The Bhamsa Chart D27

Strengths & weaknesses — innate strengths, weaknesses and overall vitality.

The D27 (Bhamsa, Nakshatramsa or Saptavimshamsa) divides each sign into twenty-seven to assess one's underlying strengths and weaknesses — the constitutional resilience or fragility behind the rest of the chart.

What the Bhamsa (D27) shows

Every divisional chart magnifies one department of life. The Bhamsa divides each sign into 27 equal parts, then maps each part to a full sign — producing a new 12-sign chart that zooms in on innate strengths, weaknesses and overall vitality. A promise made in the main birth chart (D1) is confirmed only if it also holds up in the relevant varga; this is how experienced astrologers separate strong promises from weak ones.

How it's used

The D27 is read for the strength and condition of planets relevant to strengths & weaknesses. A planet that is strong in both the D1 and the D27 gives full results in that area; one that weakens in the D27 delivers less than the main chart suggests. It is always judged alongside the D1 and the D9, never alone.
